Maldives,The Last Paradise on Earth

A thousand shades of blue. The Maldives is often called 'the last paradise on earth' and offers indeed all the right ingredients: pristine tropical islands with swaying palm trees, pure white sand beaches and brilliant turquoise lagoons. Maldives, the underwater world, with an amazing number of fish in all fantastic shapes and lurid colors, dolphins, whales and manta rays. Maldives is an island nation consisting of a group of atolls in the Indian Ocean, south of Lakshadweep group of islands of India, about seven hundred kilometers (435 mi) south-west of Sri Lanka. The twenty-six atolls encompass a territory featuring 1,192 islets, roughly two hundred of which are inhabited by people.
